The Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs (MSYA) has successfully concluded the Discover H2O Polo Programme, a grassroots initiative introducing young people to water polo while promoting water confidence, physical activity, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.

Conducted over five weeks from August 3 to September 5, 2026, the programme engaged more than 90 youngsters ages 8 to 14, providing opportunities to develop swimming and introductory water polo skills through structured instruction, drills, games and age-appropriate activities.

The programme was conducted at the D’Abadie/Malabar Community Swimming Pool (CSP), Maloney Community Swimming Pool (SP), and the National Aquatic Centre, providing participants from different communities with access to aquatic sport development.
