RAPP LEAD-UP Vacation Programme Overview

RAPP LEAD-UP, which stands for Leadership, Empowerment, Advancement, Development, Upliftment and Progress, is a four (4) week National Service Vacation programme implemented for the benefit of the youth ages 9-17 years throughout Trinidad. This initiative falls under the mentorship component of the existing RAPP programme. The core of this Vacation programme, which runs from July 13th, 2026, to August 7th, 2026, has placed emphasis on life skills development, mentorship, cultural enrichment, environmental awareness, digital literacy, leadership training and active civic engagement.

The RAPP LEAD-UP Programme will be administered at eleven (11) RAPP Centres, utilising the experience from qualified Coordinators and Facilitators. The daily timetable of events will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a structured schedule that fosters positivity and productivity.

The initiative aims to curb a number of societal shortcomings, including youth unproductivity, exposure to crime and anti-social behaviour, bullying, and self-esteem issues.
